Moments

How to define a moment?

Moments. All those instants that pass in front of our eyes constantly, and without us noticing, disappear in time without being given importance. Those moments are the ones that make us be ourselves, that change our lives and make them special.

This video made me realise how moments seem insignificant to us, while they really are the main characters of our daily lives. Have a look.

So, how would you define a moment?   What did the video made you feel?

Moments define our lives, from moment to moment our destinies are being written.
Life gives us brief moments with another, but sometimes in those brief moments we get memories that last a life time. We can lose and we can win in just one moment and that’s what make us realize what an important part moments play in our lives. Use your precious moments to live life fully every single second of every single day. The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers.

  2. Moment is a very brief period of time with importance significance. Moments full feel our lives, they will stay with us till the very end and we will use them to learn as experiences. These experiences will help us every day: for not committing the same errors, for improving in our grades, for knowing the correct things we have to choose… Without the moments our life would be insignificance, they would have nothing to offer. The most important moments come to us when we are bored, the previous minutes before going to sleep, in our dreams or when we have to make a decision. Obviously moments are important. We have hundreds of different moments in our heads sad moments, happy ones, surprising… But what’s clear is that it makes a before and a after that moment.

  3. We don’t choose moments, they just happen, some by chance and others because they have to arrive. You may believe in chance or destiny but, why not put both together in order to describe a lifetime? Expecting something to happen will not necessarily make it happen, however, millions of unexpected moments which affected our past build up our future. Long or short actions draw our pathway in life, define our personality and guide us through. Someone’s life could be described in less than 5 specific moments.

After watching this video, instants which I had defined as daily actions in my life suddenly have turned out being memorable instants which have actually influenced on my character and, moreover, on my vital point of view. The video is cleverly filmed as it links essential moments in life in no longer than a second by choosing thoughtfully the relationship between them. All of the instants described are common actions which everyone may have experienced but without paying attention to their importance and so it’s because of the fact of feeling easily identified with them that I consider this video very effective.

  4. A moment is a point in time.It ay or may not play an important role in our lives, but the fact is every moment is as beautiful as the last and as the one that will follow, because the beauty of a moment does not lie in what occurs in that moment, but in the fact that it slips through our fingers, no matter how hard we try to withhold or prolong it.

Essentially, our life is the collection of the moments that we live through from the instant of our birth to the instant of our death. We can choose to make these moments matter or not, and these will define our entire life.

As a wise man once said, "Do not measure life in the amount of breaths you take, but in the amount of times that your breath is taken away". I believe that everyone should remember this quote as, in my opinion, you should live life to the fullest and never regret anything that you do, and never miss an opportunity to live a moment that makes you happy.
