Dressed to look young an innocent for American TV show, The Insider, the 20 year-old claims that she had a brief liason with Bieber four years ago, culminating in 30 seconds of unprotected sex in a backstage toilet.
Was it just a matter of time before the squeaky-clean image of this 'family' pop-star was tarnished by temptation?
If none of this is true, should we or the government act to stop the Mariah Yeater's of this world from stirring up trouble? Or should libel laws be ignored in the name of entertainment?
People like to gossip. This is a fact. It is part of human nature. Being famous has its side effects and one of these is having your life exposed to everyone. It would be easy to say that people should not criticize other people’s life, but this can’t be avoided.
ReplyDeleteWe tend to idealize artists and they help to this by giving a specific image, which probably doesn’t match with the truth. Justin Bieber probably isn’t as innocent as he wants to make us believe, since he became famous at a very young age and was exposed to many temptations without being mature enough to control himself.
Having said this, I think that Mariah Yeater has the right to say whatever she wants. I don’t approve it, I don’t think it’s morally right but, in my opinion, the government or us shouldn’t intervene, since there would never be an end to this. There are a lot of “Mariah Yeater’s” in this world.
