Yesterday, a football tragedy occurred as Riot supporters killed a total number of 74 people. After invading the football pitch, Riots supporters attacked the other team supporters without letting them escape as the stadium doors were locked.
- How can these be happening nowadays?
- Should politics be allowed to influence a football match?
It's incredible how such a thing can happen nowadays in a football match where people are supposed to enjoy the game whether if they win or not. Today while I was seeing the news , the terrific number of deaths and the total chaos that invaded the stadium causing 1000 injured, made me think what you just mentioned, Francisco. I realized how political aspects can make people from the same country kill each other without realizing that the reason for it it's absolutely nonsense. I still don't know exactly why this happened but undoubtedly they've given a dramatic image to the rest of the world that proves how problematic is their situation right now.
ReplyDeleteMoreover it's shameful to see that police isn't able to control the situation , how disorganized everything is and the consequences it brings. This kind of situations ought to be as controlled as in many other countries where police members are distributed all around the stadium to control fans and prevent violence.
Egypt has a lot of work to do in all aspects and think we should help them to get rid of this insecurity and this constant violent acts that we here day after day in the news.

These images are more than just another new that anyone can watch on TV and forget. This fatality should lead all the clubs in the world to a mutual agreement so that such a thing can’t occur never again.
DeleteFootball, like any other sport, is a game between different teams who try to reach an objective that makes them win the match. Each team’s supporters are there to encourage their team to win the match, and the only competition between different team’s supporters should be who is the one who shouts more to support his team, not a pitched battle that leads to the death of so much people, because of having different political views.
Our personality is based on our ideas, once an idea has taken hold of the brain it's almost impossible to eradicate. An idea that is fully formed, fully understood. That sticks, right in there somewhere, and this conditions our acts and our way to be, and these ideas must be accepted by the rest of us, although we may be totally against them.
Starting a fight with another person just because of his ideology is truly shameful, everyone in this world has the right to think and express when he wants, and no one is able to judge these ideas or to force someone to change them.
Going back to the incident in Egypt, in my opinion, both clubs should punish their supporters by prohibiting the entrance to their stadium for a while, so that they really understand the heaviness of the situation and the image they provided the whole world about how things go on in this country.

I saw this on the news yesterday and I find it incredible! This is something that ruines the essence of soccer and is a real shame for people who love soccer to see this. This only happens in certain countries like,in this case, Egypt. First of all, I think these people shouldn't be able to get into a soccer field with harmful objects. Second of all, they shouldn't let them get on the bitch because these kind of things end up happening so part of the fault is of the security. Of course, it's very difficult to stop so many people.
ReplyDeleteThe fact that the hooligans of each team fight with each other gives a very bad example and can only cause the stopping of the league, which is what happened. Until there is no solution to this, the egyptian league will be frozen.

I am very disappointed with this terrifying new, I can't believe how this people can do such vandalism for losing a simple match of football. This fact is inacceptable in any pitch of football, is embarrassing how this people arrive to this point of killing more than 70 people.
ReplyDeleteI still can't believe too how the security members couldn't stop it. The two teams that were playing are like in Spain Barcelona-Real Madrid, each time they play this two teams there's such angriness and the security notice it and alerts more members of security, so I hope that from now on Egyptian security increases .
