Davis Cup

Rafael Nadal beat Argentina's Juan Martin del Potro in a hard match to secure the Davis Cup for Spain.

His match secured Spain's fifth Davis Cup title and their third in four years.
Spain won 3-1 against a very capable Argentina.

These are the results of the matches:

  • R2: D. Ferrer (ESP) d. J.M. del Potro (ARG) 62 67(2) 36 64 63
  • R3: D. Nalbandian / E. Schwank (ARG) d. F. Lopez / F. Verdasco (ESP) 64 62 63
  • R4: R. Nadal (ESP) d. J.M. del Potro (ARG) 16 64 61 76(0)

The final was set in Sevilla and many people went to support the Spanish team.
Is Spain going to win next years Davis Cup or are they just on their way out?

  1. Firstly, I would like to congratulate Spanish players because they have done a great job in all of their matches played in the Davis Cup. All of the effort and work of those players has clearly become a sign of admiration for most of the Spanish tennis followers.
    Secondly, my trust is guaranteed by the fact that the Davis Cup will be won a in a near future as Spanish players never let themselves down and try their very best in every match.
    Finally I would like to say that with consistence and effort, you can get as far as you like. The Spanish team has shown as how, why don´t you try. You will b amused to see how much of a potential you have inside.
