    1. Hello, for the first time in this blog!

I just didn't believe it when I first saw the video. This woman is TOTALLY crazy and, as they said in the video, she must pay for what she did.
Anyway, people who act this way (weird behaviour such as Jack the Ripper, "puppy-throwers", etc) definately have a mental problem, so the solution isn't to make them pay, go to prison... This kind of people must go to the psychiatrist and/or to the lunatic asylum.
I hope you continue adding more interesting news, articles, videos, etc. This one was a great one to begin with.
PS. Thank you for linking the difficult words with their definition in the dictionary, it is very useful!

      Hi!
This is also my first post in the blog, and I must admit I think I'll have to get used to it because I've never written in a blog. Anyway, I hope this will be a positive contribution to the page.

When I saw the news whithout looking at the video I just couldn't imagine how people could do such things to poor indefensive individuals, it's just not moral. I mean, why do people want to do these kind of thing? What are they gaining with it?

Moreover, this is not the only case that such things have happened, when I saw the other woman throwing the cat in the wheelie-bin, I was stunned. The way in which she did it left me amazed, she did it so lightly! And the blonde girl throwing the puppies to the river, she seemed also to enjoy it!

However, the damage is already done. Now we have to focus on how to stop these people doing such atrocities to animals. What do these people have in their minds to think of doing those things?

It has been a very interesting article and I hope there will be more added!

      Astonishingly horrible news!
I am really amazed at what people are capable of doing! I could never do such thing. It’s an absurdity also because instead of throwing these poor puppies into the river she could have sold them or have taken them to a dog’s pound. It seems as if she has fun at doing this…I imagine she has a dog that had puppies and she didn’t want them but however, this wasn’t the solution to it!
I have never come across to something like this but I have heard of some. Here in Spain there was this man from a political party who killed cats and made photographs of him with the dead cats and kittens! This kind of people should be treated in a different way to humans because
      they aren’t really human…
I’d definitely investigate for possible witnesses because no normal human being permits these photographs on internet!

Thank you for the interesting news!

I can't believe what I saw in that video.
I am really amazed that someone can treat animals like that, animals are not less than humans just because we can control them on some way. If someone doesn't want an animal, in this case the puppies, they should not treat them badly or even kill them, there are solutions like selling them or giving them to another person.
      it is really unbelievable.

    5. This is actually THE THIRD TIME I try to post this comment! Both times an error occurred and it all went blank, and I had to start it all over again! Now I'll try to say what I already had said... Twice.

What hasn't changed in the three I've tried to post is the sense of horror I have when I think about these women. How can someone be so mean to do this to these poor, little helpless creatures? And so sick to film yourself doing it!? Human kind makes my soul shrivel, it seems this is the only thing we can do: pain. I hope more videos of helping people were posted, and not so many of these sadists.

I really think these kind of people should be imprisoned, or admitted in a mental hospital, where they should be. Far from places where they could hurt. They should really think about these sickly acts they've done, and how to mend all the wrong they've caused.

I hope we don't have to ever read more articles like this one, and I hope we someday have a world no one does things like these.

    6. I have seen the video about three times, and i can´t hardly believe what i saw. It is astonishing the way, and the cruelty in which people act.

This girl brings to mi mind, the main character of the clockwork orange, and the sad thing is that this girl can't be fixed even by psychiatrists, the sadism, and the "whippi" expressions that she uses only add emphasis to my hate towards her, honestly she should be kept in a mental hospital.

I tried to understand her, looking at what she did under a philosophical point or even under a psychopaths point, but i can't really understand it, i can't understand what brought her to do that, and what she was thinking when she was doing it, or if she even felt bad or sorry after doing it(honestly i doubt it).

As a conclusion i would like to say and to think that there is a solution, and to try to convince myself that it is not her fault,(maybe she was abused by a family member) but i can't so i have decided that the only words she deserves from me are:

      Bloody Bastard.

      Surendra Sharma.

PS: i'm am sorry if i did offend someone with my comment, but it is my free opinion.

    7. Hello Mr. Latham!

I've just read this article and I'm really shocked. I couldn't even see the video as I had enough reading the article and as I detest the animal mistreatment. I think that is not fair at all this kind of animal mistreatment as they are weaker than us and they can't defend themselfs. Also in my opinion, as we should all respect each other we should also respect animals, and people who don't like them they can just ignore them and not hurt them or even kill them. I agree with Santi that this people what they need is going to a psychiatrist and not paying for what they have done or going to prison, as they clearly have a mental problem.

Well, I hope that you keep posting interesting articles and videos such as this one! And I have to say that I think that's a really good idea doing this blog!

People around the world want to hunt her down, I checked the facebook page that appears on the video and about 10 000 people joined the page. Here you have it: http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/pages/Find-the-Girl-Who-Threw-Puppies-in-River/144095572295078?ref=ts . If you look at this page's wall, you can see loads of insults against her and even death threats.

Something is going wrong in this woman's brain, she needs professional help really, this whore does not have a heart.

I've read on this link that the punishment she will receive for doing such thing is 5000 euros, not enough in my opinion.

See you tomorrow Mr. Latham, good articles here, keep it up! ;)

    9. Hello Mr lathan,
I seen the video twice and read the article once. I was amazed and shocked. The blonde woman in the video seemed to enjoy throwing puppies into the river.I really want to know who was filming this girl while she was doing this atrocity. In my opinion this girl should pay for what she did.
Nextly I saw a video of a woman throwing a cat in a bin.It was also an example of animal mistreatment.
I agree with Santi and Anna that these kind of people should not go to prison or pay for what they did ,they should go to a psychiatrist,as they a mental problem.
      Thanks for this article

    10. HELLO TO ALL THE BLOGGERS AND I HOPE THAT WE ALL EXPRESS OUR OPINIONS AND ACT CIVILISED AND RESPECTFULLY TOWARDS EACHOTHER.

FIRSTLY I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT I AM REALLY GLAD THAT WE ARE DOING SOMETHING AS LIGHT-HEARTED AND ENTERTAINING AS POSTING ON A BLOG FOR MY ENGLISH HOMEWORK. FRANKLY I THOUGHT THIS DAY WOULD NEVER COME AND MR.LATHAM MAY I SAY THAT I SALUTE YOU!!

      HAHA ONLY KIDDING!

HOWEVER, MOVING ON TO THE NEWS IN QUESTION I CAN ONLY REALLY THINK OF SAYING THAT IT IS INCOMPREHENSIBLE AND ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING TO KNOW THAT THERE ARE PEOPLE AS MESSED UP AND PSYCHO TO DO SUCH A THING

PERSONALLY I FOUND IT QUITE DISTURBING ALTHOUGH I AM NOT SURPRISED THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED AS ALL SORTS OF THINGS HAPPEN IN THE WORLD EVERY DAY AND I DON'T HAVE THE WILL OR THE TIME TO FEEL SHOCKED ABOUT EVERYTHING SO I WOULD LIKE TO LEAVE IT AT THIS AND SUM UP MY FEELINGS BY SAYING THAT THIS GIRL IS CLEARLY A PHSYCOPATH AND DESERVES EVERYTHING SHE IS ALLEGEDLY GOING TO GET!!!!

    11. Hi Mr Latham, classmates and the rest of the world!
As you may imagine this is my first post on the blog.

I think this video is a very interesting piece of imformation as well as very shocking. After watching this video several times I've arrived to the conclusion that this girl isn't insane or anything near to it.

This girl doesn't care about animal life, this is not as unusual as it seems. The orkward is the way she throws the puppies as if it was for fun! In addition she does a video and puts it on the internet.

A I said before I've arrived to a conclusion, this women has had a bad education when she was a child or has a trauma or simply is nasty, she was borned nasty and will probably continue being a nasty person.

It was nice to do an analysis of this article, I hope the future ones are also interesting and I think this blog is a sensational idea. I'm sure we'll have fun.

    12. (Thanks Jack!)

I can't believe it either and the worrying thing is that she was happy to film and share the act. Even if she secretly enjoyed the act - is she so warped that she feels that, socially, it is acceptable.

As you say Andrea (and thanks for trying to post until you managed to), it really does make your 'soul shrivel'.

PS. In case you have a problem posting, please copy (CTRL+C) your text before you hit 'Post Comment' - that way you can try again if it fails. And in the worst case, paste the text into a word doc or notepad so that you can try to post again later.

    13. Hi everybody

This is Jordi Ferrer and I have the pleasure to post a comment in this great webpage. I´ve never would think that we could share our opinions in a webpage. So thankyou Mr lathan

I think that everybody has the same opinion. THIS GIRL IS REALLY INSANE.
Firstly it is not normal to abuse from animals, but the worst thing is that she is having fun doing something horryble. She should be in a mental school.
When I started to see the video I wanted to cry because I saw that the world has some terrible people like this girl.

PS: I am waiting for your next blog post so thankyou for making this possible Mr Lathan

    14. It's hard to believe that nowadays there is still no conscience for mistreating little animals such as those puppies in the video. I can't really work out how does this woman arrive to the point of throwing the puppies into the river. What does she gain? Nothing at all! There is NO satisfaction or enjoyment in making those poor animals suffer!

I totally agree with my classmates, psycopaths who commit this kind of atrocities should be directly sent to mental therapists. However, I suppose that this kind of people never change, even if they have passed a rehabilitation treatment...

Mr.Latham, thank you for creating this blog as interactive homework! It's really enjoyable to consider the different opinions on the same video!

    15. Hello!

When I first saw this video I couldn't believe this puppies were alive. I couldn't think of a girl throwing live puppies into a river it is so tremendously macabre. In my opinion this girl has been very bad influenced, may be for certain horror films or TV programs that, for underaged people, can certainly make her act this way. Her parents should send her to a special place in order to let her drop off this bad influences that she got in the passed.

The goverment should forbidden certain horror movies or TV programmes for underaged kids, nevertheless, if this girl doesn't change she should be interned in an asylum for the rest of her live.

This girl is, with all my respects, out of her mind. The worst thing of the whole video is when you realise she is actually enjoying this. I just don't want to imagine what has driven her to do this; it seems impossible how people get to the point of doing such things.

Nowadays people have to be very extreme to have fun, because the youth feel free to do whatever they please without limits. I don't want to sound old-fashioned but I certainly believe that if these kind of things didn't occur when our parents were young it was because their own parents and the society's values were different to todays'.

Maybe the girl's behaviour is due to some previous traumatic experience, we don't know, and because we don't know the reason we cannot judge her, but if I were her mother and saw this I'd try to find the origin of this behaviour, and if professional help was needed I'd certainly take her to a psychologist.

I cannot imagine how incredibly outraged the animal lovers must be, because if I am still incredulous after seeing this video, what will have their reaction been like?

According to the public and uncensored view of videos like this I agree with Juan, there should be more control over traumatic videos and horror films: look at the case of James Bulger! One of the boys was very much influenced by the Chucky films. Or the 7-year-old boy who hung himself after watching Saddam Hussein's execution on Youtube.

I hope you continue to update the blog and post interesting videos with social issues so we can see what happens around the world and at the same time broaden our English vocabulary by commenting and sharing opinions.

    17. When I first saw the video of her throwing the puppies into the river I just couldn't believe it, i literally couldn't finish the video.

I find it incredible that nowadays adults play with living animals like that, or treat the with no respect. The worst thing is that this girl is actually enjoying it. I find this is a cruel, horrible and unhuman act. For me, this girl can only have a serious mental problem, she is absolutely crazy to do this.

The strongest feeling I got from watching this video was impotence. I personally love animals, and I just can't stand watching this behaviour from this woman, and by the way who is filming it? Has he no sense of sensibility.

I think the first thing that should be done is taking this video off the internet, it is not something to be seen the death of puppies. As well as this, the woman should recieve a punishment for what she has done from the police.

Animals are not humans, that's true, but the have to recieve the same respect.

    18. It's interesting that you ask for the video to be taken off the internet. I can understand why and might feel the same myself. Only, I worry that this would be censorship: wouldn't we simply be end up keeping 'secret' all sorts of unacceptable social behaviour? Who then decides what is to be hidden from the public and what is not? In the past lynchings, poverty, famine, discrimination, abuse, even ethnic cleansing, have all been made possible, in part at least, by the 'authorities' keeping silent about their existence. At least, by seeing this (or hearing about it second hand), the public is aware that such behaviour is possible and so ready to act against it. But as I said at the beginning, there are different ways of seeing this and plenty of arguments in favour of each perspective.
